When the above article was first published online, the following was described on Page 5 of the paper: ‘Recently studied eggs with the embryos of megalosaurid theropod Torvosaurus from the Late Jurassic of Spain also reveal spheroolithic eggshell structure of somewhat dendroolithid morphotype’. The location should read as Portugal and not Spain. The correction has been made to the online version of this article.
