Abstract
Through the lens of a father-son basketball coaching mentor/mentee relationship, the purpose of this article is to provide coach educators (mentors) and novice coaches (mentees) with considerations and instructional strategies that generally promote improvement in mentee knowledge, increase critical reflection, and provide a meaningful developmental learning experience.
