Abstract
The intention of this article is to provide ideas and resources for educators to consider when planning for the implementation of a mindful yoga unit of instruction. Although not exhaustive, we have used the MINDFUL YOGA acronym as a means to organize and structure the various ideas and resources listed in this paper. Through the use of the acronym MINDFUL YOGA, we provide 11 strategies to guide teachers toward the successful implementation of this curriculum in physical education.
