Louis Gritzo

Louis Gritzo is Vice President of Research at FM Global, a mutual-owned, research- and engineering-based industrial and commercial property insurance company. Besides leading the research division, which includes scientists with expertise in fire, explosions, natural hazards, risk analysis, analytics, and reliability, he also oversees efforts to improve building codes and standards in developing economies. His past experience includes time at Sandia National Laboratories, where he served as Manager of Fire Science and Technology and as a member of the Advanced Concepts Group. He received his PhD in mechanical engineering, with a minor in applied mathematics, from Texas Tech University. [email protected]

Alan Fusfeld

Alan Fusfeld is the president, CEO and founder of the Fusfeld Group. He received his BES degree in mechanics from Johns Hopkins University and was a member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s PhD program on the management of technology. He has been a technology management and strategy consultant to Fortune 500 companies for more than 40 years; his current interests include developing future visions, understanding the traits of successful R&D leadership, designing highly productive and open R&D organizations, R&D metrics, and portfolios. Daniel Carpenter

Daniel Carpenter retired in July 2015 as Vice President of Global Operations and CTO for Energizer. He joined the leadership team for this ROR research project due to his lifelong passion for leadership excellence in R&D. Dan was a voting member of IRI for 10 years and served as a Board Member and part of the ROR Leadership Team. He now spends his time working on his golf game, volunteering, and doing consulting.
