Heidi M. J. Bertels

Heidi M. J. Bertels is an associate professor of management at the Chazanoff School of Business at CUNY College of Staten Island (CSI). She is also a campus director and academic champion for Blackstone Launchpad at CSI, which aims to make entrepreneurial skills accessible to all students. She holds a PhD in innovation management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a BS and MA in integral product development from the University of Antwerp. Her research interests are in innovation management, creativity, and entrepreneurship. She has published in high quality journals and is also an award-winning case writer.
