Abstract
UCo2Si2 orders antiferromagnetically at T N=82.5 K. The magnetic ordering is accompanied by pronounced anomalies of the specific heat, magnetization and resistivity. Resistivity is notably anisotropic depending on the current direction. We have observed the evolution of the T N-related resistivity features with increasing hydrostatic pressure up to 7.3 GPa. T N value decreases with increasing pressure; the critical pressure for the collapse of the ordered magnetism is about 8 GPa.
