Pages 49-59 | Received 25 Aug 2015, Accepted 21 Oct 2015, Published online: 15 Jan 2016

ABSTRACT

To determine whether the library was meeting the needs of business faculty in the School of Business Administration at the University of Mississippi, a citation analysis of business faculty publications was conducted as a follow-up to a previous citation analysis. The following data were collected: journal citations by age, publication, publisher, and Library of Congress Classification; book citations by age and Library of Congress Classification; a total was kept for all other non-journal citations. The results were analyzed for each department: Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, and Marketing.
