The articles by Durvasula and Rivera Mindt and colleagues are part of a series representing an expansion of the symposium entitled, “Health Disparities: Emerging Biopsychosocial Challenges of Older Adults Living with HIV,” presented at the 121st American Psychological Association Annual Convention, August 3, 2013. The symposium was a collaborative effort among members of the Committee on Psychology and AIDS, the Committee on Aging, the Committee on Socioeconomic Status, the Committee on Ethnic Minority Affairs, the Committee on Women in Psychology, and the Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Concerns in the Public Interest Directorate of the American Psychological Association.
