Article title: Gender Discrimination in Iran’s Capital Punishment System

Author: Alasti, S.

Journal: Women & Criminal Justice

DOI: https://doi.org/10.1080/08974454.2022.2127346

The above-mentioned paper contains the below errors when it was first published online.

  1. The insertion of an endnote for the sentence “This study, for the first time, draws on a vast array of governmental and secondary resources and existing research as well as original data (e.g., correspondence with death row inmates)” on the second page and under the “Introduction” was missing. The citation of endnote “3” has been added after the following sentence “This study, for the…row inmates)” as “This study, for the first time, draws on a vast array of governmental and secondary resources and existing research as well as original data (e.g., correspondence with death row inmates)3” and the endnote text contains “The author did not conduct primary research on human participants, but instead consulted the research of others.”. Also, the subsequent endnotes have been renumbered.

  2. The insertion of the following additional references “Alasti, S., & Bronson, E. (2017). Iran, corrections in. In K. R. Kerley (Ed.), The encyclopedia of corrections. https://doi.org/10.1002/9781118845387.wbeoc267” and “Iran Human Rights Documentation Center. (2013). Gender inequality and discrimination: The case of Iranian women. https://iranhrdc.org/gender-inequality-and-discrimination-the-case-of-iranian-women/” were missing from the “References” section. These references have been added in the “References” section now as per the alphabetical order and the citations have been cited within the text after the following sentence “This study, for the…row inmates)” as “This study, for the first time, draws on a vast array of governmental and secondary resources and existing research as well as original data (e.g., correspondence with death row inmates)3 (Alasti & Bronson, 2017; Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, 2013).”

The above errors have been corrected along with some minor changes and the article has been republished online.
