PERFORMING IDENTIFICATIONS, Queering Autobiography: Reading Mark Dendy's Dream Analysis

Pages 242-271 | Published online: 03 Jun 2014

Abstract

This article examines Mark Dendy's dance theater work, Dream Analysis, as a queered act of autobiography. Closely reading the choreographic and performance strategies of staging the narrative, I argue that the work re-imagines the autobiographical project through theatrical play with identification and representation.
