Abstract
Quasi-static analysis of scattering from a layered sphere in fractional dimensional space is presented. The layers to be considered include plasmonic and/or non-plasmonic materials. Additionally, the space surrounding and occupied by the sphere is assumed to be fractional. The effects of layers and fractionality of dimensions on polarizability and potential distribution of the sphere are investigated. Numerical results for the same are presented for various combinations of layers and fractionality of the space.
