Abstract
This paper presents a detailed analysis of the propagation characteristics of the magnetic field around bounded-wave simulator excited by high-altitude nuclear electromagnetic pulse (HEMP), meanwhile, the effects of thickness, size, electrical conductivity, and magnetic permeability on the magnetic field are discussed. Furthermore, at the basis of the energy spectrum distribution of excitation source, the exposure value of the radiation field is calculated according to GB8702. The results suggest that whether with protective measures or not, the magnetic field derived from HEMP is not harmful to human body in a single test.
