ABSTRACT
The paper considers the possibility of forming the maximum amplitude of the electric field strength at a given point in space using a linear antenna array focused on a finite distance. Since the location of the electric field maximum does not coincide with the point at which the antenna array is focused, two methods have been proposed to ensure the positioning of the maximum at a given point. The first method is an algorithm that allows you to determine such a large focal length at which the maximum electric field strength is positioned at the required point. The second way is to use two parallel identical antenna arrays, equidistantly located relative to the desired location of the maximum electric field strength. The limitations imposed by each of the methods are considered. Examples of the use of each of the methods for positioning the maximum electric field strength at a given point are given.
