Trends in Language Evolution found from the Frequency Structure of Texts Mapped Against the Bose-DistributionFootnote

Pages 281-294 | Published online: 17 Jun 2014

ABSTRACT

Some hints towards the evolution of languages are obtained using the analogy between the Bose-distribution and frequency structure of text. Simplification of grammar with time is clearly observed on the examples of several language lineages from the values of calculated text parameters.
