Abstract

The class SH functions were used to develop a new method of the formation of smooth transition processes in the production processes in engineering in conditions such as starting up, acceleration, deceleration, reversing, constant running, and shutdown. The efficiency of the method is confirmed by the results of mathematical simulation carried out for DC drives with independent excitation in the task of controlling the feed rate in automatic and semiautomatic arc welding equipment.
