Abstract
The main factors of the process of electric resistance welding of a metallic strip through an amorphous solder tape are determined. Regression equations are derived for the determination of the strength of the joint between the coating and the substrate in electric resistance welding through an amorphous solder tape and also the depth of the heat-affected zone in relation to the power of the heat source and the coefficient of overlapping of the welded areas with respect to the diameter and between the turns of the welded joint.
