Formation of bonding regions in homogeneous metals in electric resistance welding

Abstract

Based on the dislocation hypothesis of the formation of welded compound without the melting of combinable metals the theoretical model is developed of the forming of the centres of gripping homogeneous metals during the electric-contact welding. Dependences for the calculated estimation of the sizes of the centres of gripping are obtained.
