Upon thorough investigation, it has been determined that the paper titled ‘Correct shielding gas selection in dual wire GMAW’ by B. Magnabosco and F. Coppo, published in Welding International, Volume 26, Issue 11, 2012, pp. 829–838, DOI: 10.1080/09507116.2011.592699, is substantially similar to content and data research conducted by Laprosolda, a research group affiliated with the Center for Research and Development of Welding Processes at the Federal University of Uberlandia, Brazil.
As a result, the article published in Welding International has been retracted and should not be cited in the electronic or print version of the journal. This article was a translation of the original article which has also been retracted, ‘La corretta scelta dei gas di protezione nella saldatura GMAW a doppio filo’, B. Magnabosco and F.
