Abstract

Results of investigations into the effect of laser, electron beam and electric arc on the modification of the structure, physical–mechanical and service properties of coatings are presented. It is shown that it is possible to harden composite coatings by modification with refractory compounds with submicro- and nanocrystalline structures and by high-energy effects.
