Investigation of the structural and chemical heterogeneity in welding of different groups of metallic materials

Abstract

Investigations were carried out into the special features of the formation of structural and chemical heterogeneity of the metal in the heat-affected zone (HAZ) of binary alloys, corresponding to different types of the equilibrium diagram. The results of the investigation of the high-temperature zone in the HAZ are presented, and the factors influencing the formation of the heterogeneity in the fusion zone of the grain boundaries of the metal are determined.
