Strength of welded joints with an asymmetric mechanical heterogeneity under static loading

Abstract

The results of investigation of the stress state with an asymmetric mechanical heterogeneity of a welded joint and the static loading are presented. Equations for calculating the stress sensor of the mean limiting stresses on the contact surfaces are derived. The calculated values are in good agreement with experimental data.
