Special features of manufacture of welded ring-shaped structures from a new nickel superalloy VZh172

Abstract

Results of investigations of electron beam welding of large components of VZh172 alloy, determination of the optimum heat treatment conditions of the welded section, and the mechanical properties of the welded joints and microstructure of the metal of the welded joint and the parent metal are presented.
