Special features of consumable electrode plasma welding (review)

Abstract

The physical and technological special features of the process of consumable electrode plasma welding are reviewed. Principles of construction of equipment and also areas of application in industry are discussed. The advantages of the process in comparison with consumable electrode arc welding are investigated. Prospects for the further development of consumable electrode plasma welding are shown.
