Intelligent radiogram analysis system for quality inspection of welded joints

Abstract

This paper presents the concept of a system for intelligent quality inspection of welded joints based on computer-based analysis of radiograms. The paper describes the project assumptions, the hardware used for its implementation as well as the software developed for the purpose of this project. The project aims to limit the human influence on decision-making to the necessary minimum. The purpose of the system is to automate the decision-making process and monitor the quality of tested weld joints according to applicable standards.
