Abstract
The processes of reconditioning the housings of oil pumps of Caterpillar-3116 and Caterpillar-3126 engines with worn wells by cold gas dynamic spraying of powder materials followed by boring the deposited coating on a jig-boring machine with special technological jigging are described. The cost of reconditioning the housing of the oil pump does not exceed 10–15% of the cost of a new component, and the service life is not shorter than that of a new component.
