Abstract
A new flux-cored wire producing the deposited metal of high-chromium steel of the Fe–Cr–Ni–Mo–Mn–Si–Nb–Ti–B alloying system is described. The structure of the deposited metal and the composition of the hardening phases are determined. The role of borides in increasing the wear resistance and stability of the properties of the metal in hardfacing is analysed.
