Plasma deposition of powder materials in a magnetic field

Abstract

The effect of the longitudinal magnetic field on the properties of deposited metal is investigated. The experimental results show that a longitudinal magnetic field with a specific value of magnetic induction has a positive effect on various parameters such as the burn out of the alloying elements, the penetration depth of the parent metal and the hardness and microhardness of the coating.
