Abstract

Automatic submerged-arc welding is used widely in the manufacture of nuclear power plant made of heat resisting steels. Solving the problem of producing welded joints with the strength equal to that of the parent metal, is important to replace fused fluxes in welding by high basicity agglomerated fluxes.
