ABSTRACT

The reactions of interaction between metal and slag in fusion welding are considered. For the first time the equivalent impurities is proposed. Equivalent allows multiple correlation to be reduced to correlation of two variables in order to determine the effect in the mechanical characteristics of the weld metal.
