We, the Editors and Publisher of the journal Welding International, have retracted the following article:

The above article has been retracted as a result of an article with a significant overlap in content having been published as Master’s Thesis entitled, “TBM 滚刀 H13 钢刀圈再制造过程中堆焊数值模拟与试验验证”, English title “Numerical Simulation and Experimental Research on Surfacing Welding Remanufacturing Process of TBM Cutters’H13-steel Rings” by Shihai He from XiangTan University, China, 2020.

As this represents a breach of publishing ethics and of warranties made by the author with respect to originality and provenance, we are retracting the article. The authors agree with the retraction.

We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.
