Investigation of the effect of pulsed surfacing on the state of a heat-resistant single-crystal alloy

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of elemental and phase compositions, microstructure and mechanical properties of heat-resistant single-crystal intermetallic alloy used in the manufacture of cooled blades of high-temperature gas turbines of power equipment. State of monocrystal alloy after carrying out comparative experiments by methods of pulsed build-up and argon-arc build-up is investigated. It has been found that the pulsed build-up does not result in the formation of a zone of thermal influence and changes in the state of the base material. This method is recommended to restore defective areas and geometric dimensions of parts as part of resource-saving technologies.
