A model decomposition approach for a manufacturing enterprise in Business Process Reengineering

Pages 210-218 | Published online: 08 Nov 2010

This paper presents overviews of both an enterprise modelling and a quality performance analysis used to perform a number of successful Business Process Reengineering (BPR) effects. A quantitative analysis and performance measurement framework along with a methodology is presented. The quantitative models are important factors for analysis and modelling in BPR, to coordinate information flow for activities, enhance requirement reconfigurability and to minimize errors and the unplanned evolution of activities in BPR project executions. In particular, we use quantitative analysis and performance measurement rather than descriptive qualitative analysis and design when deriving the IDEF0 model results within manufacturing enterprises.
