¹UNRISD is an autonomous agency that carries out multidisciplinary research on the social dimensions of contemporary development issues. Through its research, events and publications, UNRISD provides government agencies, intergovernmental organisations, non-governmental organisations, scholars and others with a better understanding of how development policies and processes affect different social groups.
