AIDS IMPACT 2007 was organised by the AIDS IMPACT International charity in collaboration with the local organizing committee including: the French Agency for Research on AIDS and viral hepatites (ANRS); the French National Institute for Medical Research (INSERM); the French Institute for Research on Development (IRD); the Federative Research Institute on Human, Economic & Social Sciences Applied to Health of Aix-Marseille (IFR 134 SHESS-AM); the Regional Centre of Diseases Control of South-Eastern France (ORS-PACA); the University of the Mediterranean (Aix-Marseille II) and two non-governmental organisations AIDES and SIDACTION involved in the fight against AIDS; and the South African HSRC. AIDS Impact 2007 could not have happened without the strong political, financial and logistical support of the Regional Council for Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA).
