This is the first issue of Public Money & Management since the very sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the editorial team wanted to pay tribute on behalf of all our contributors and readers. The Queen represented the very best of public service for over 70 years and was, for so many of us in the UK and around the world, an example and an inspiration. Those of us who had the privilege to meet her will also have experienced her warmth, her genuine interest and the depth of her knowledge. She was the ultimate public servant and will be forever remembered as such.
