John Fenwick
John Fenwick is Emeritus Professor at Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, UK. He has worked in local government policy research and has taught at the University of Hull and Northumbria University. He has published widely on the public policy and local government and most recently authored a critical book on organizational behaviour in the public sector (2022).
Lorraine Johnston
Lorraine Johnston is Associate Professor at Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, UK. She has been a Research Fellow at the Universities of Manchester and Lancaster and has been project manager for European funded projects on social exclusion. She is widely published in the field and, with John Fenwick, has co-authored ‘Public enterprise and local place’ (Routledge, 2020) and ‘Leading local government: the role of directly elected mayors’ (Emerald, 2020).
John and Lorraine are currently writing a book on public sector innovation.
