ABSTRACT
Recently, the production process of a nanoparticle with nematicidal activity from a nematophagous fungus was developed. Thus, a new strategy to control parasites has been discovered. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the in vitro activity of silver nanoparticles (AgNP’s) biosynthesized from Duddingtonia flagrans filtrate on the control of strongylid larvae of ruminants. This is the first report of a nematicidal activity of AgNP’s – D. flagrans on bovine strongylids, which can be an important biotechnological tool for the use of nanoparticles produced from D. flagrans.
