Abstract
MONOSPECIFIC AXENIC CULTURE OF MARINE PLANKTONIC ALGAE FROM SEWAGE EFFLUENTS
Having care for economic aspects, the authors have studied the nutritional value of raw domestic wastewaters, sterilized by U.V. irradiation, precipitated or stored, for the monospecific and axenic culture of marine planktonic algae (Asterionella japonica, Tetraselmis. maculata). Contamination by heavy metals (Hg,Cd,Pb ,Zn,Cu) was controled over all experiments. The fertilizing property of sewages was compared to that of macerations of digested sludges.
