Claudine Déom
Claudine Déom is a professor at the School of Architecture at the Université de Montréal where she coordinates the graduate programmes in Conservation of the built heritage. She is currently pursuing research in heritage conservation, the topics of which focus on the attribution of heritage values to buildings and sites in Montreal, social and community values in particular. She works with heritage conservation organisations including Héritage Montréal, the Association for Critical Heritage Studies and ICOMOS. She sits on the Table des partenaires of the Quebec Minister of Culture and Communications. Claudine Déom is also a researcher at the Laboratoire d'histoire et de patrimoine de Montréal and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Montréal.
