1. The documentary was produced by a former state television reporter Chai Jing and it took the mainland by storm with over 100 million views. With a discussion on China's increasingly serious environmental issue and the potential link to various health problems, the documentary has caused a huge stir and sparked vigorous debates on issues such as the enforcement of environmental protection and the lack of information transparency and public participation in China.
