Brian Burgoon wishes to correct a mistake in the title of his article entitled ‘Globalization and backlash: Polanyi's revenge’ (Volume 16, Number 2: 145–177, DOI: 10.1080/09692290802408832). In the title of his article Polanyi's was incorrectly spelt Polayni's, and he apologises for any misunderstanding that might have arisen as a result.
