Abstract
Although emotional labor has been described as a bargain for wage and always brought dissonances, considering the perspective of fits would increase job involvements. This study, we aims to test the mediation role of multiple dimensions perceived PE fits relationships between emotional labor and job involvement. The research methods involved survey questionnaires and canonical correlation, and SEM structural analysis of mediating effects. The major findings suggested that PE fit would influence the relationship between employees’ emotional labor and job involvement. Hence, managers would like to arouse employees’ perceived PE fits to higher degree that could increase job involvement and performance.
