Analysis of eco-efficiency based on material flow

Abstract

Eco-efficiency is a hot issue at home and abroad these years. This paper analyzes the eco-efficiency of China by the material flow and studies the theory of the eco-efficiency and the method of the material flow. Economic development is showed by GDP, the material input and the environmental stress are done by the resource investment. The social economy system was studied by quantifying GDP, the gross industrial output value, the tertiary industry output value, the fossil fuels, metals, food and the import items.
