A new approach for image inpainting by modification on total variation model

Abstract

In this paper, we present a new method for inpainting an image part of which is damaged or lost. Our approach contains a modification on the total variation model. It is based on a new insight into the neighborhood pixels of the damaged areas. Some numerical experiments are given to confirm our model.
