FDI and foreign trade: Evidence from Jiangxi Province in China

Abstract

In this paper, we use data of FDI and foreign trade in Jiangxi province from 1989 to 2015. Emphasis will be placed on the influence of FDI on Jiangxi’s foreign trade. By model building and regression test, the results show that there is a co-integration relationship between FDI and foreign trade, the impact on export is greater than on imports.
