Dr P.S. Moharir, born in Nagpur in 1943, has done MSc, MTech and PhD from Nagpur University, IIT, Bombay and IIT, Kanpur I respectively in 1964, 1966 and 1971 respectively. He has taught in BITS Pilani, llSc. Bangalore and IIT, Bombay. At present, he is reader in the Department of Geology and Geophysics, University, of Roorkee. He is interested in signal design, signal processing and systems analysis.
