Capacitated inventory replenishment policy with linear trend demand

線性需求函數下有容量限制的存貨訂購策略

Abstract

We consider a capacitated inventory system with a linear increasing trend in demand. Backlogs and shortages are not allowed. Replenishments are assumed to be instantaneous and the planning horizon is finite. The objective is to find the optimal replenishments number and time scheduling in order to keep the total relevant cost as low as possible. Based on some fundamental theoretical results, we propose a method to solve the problem and provide a numerical example for illustration.

本文是探討在需求函數爲線性增函數的情況下,當其存貨容量受到限制時的訂貨問題。我們假設可隨時訂貨,但不允許有庫存或缺貨的現象發生。目的是要找出一最佳的訂貨策略。亦即在一有限的計劃週期內,求得最佳的訂貨次數及訂貨時間點,使得相關的總成本爲最小。本文根據所推導的理論結果,提出一尋求最佳解的方法,一例題來說明此法的運用。
