Laboruntersuchungen zur Gewinnung eines Americiumkonzentrates aus PUREX-Raffinatlösung

Abstract

Nach den Ergebnissen von Verteilungsmessungen wird ein Verfahren zur Gewinnung eines Americiumkonzentrats aus PUREX-Abfallösung konzipiert. Das Verfahren besteht aus den Schritten: 1. Präparation einer Speiselösung, 2. Extraktion einer Lanthanoiden-Actinoidenfraktion mit 50%igem TBP-Magnesiumnitrat und 3. Rückextraktion eines Americiumkonzentrats mittels DTPA als Komplexbildner. Das Verfahren wird in einer Laborapparatur mit einem Durchsatz von 1 l/h getracerter Modellösung erprobt. Es wird eine Actinoiden-/Lanthanoidentrennung erhalten, die gute Voraussetzungen für eine anschließende chromatographische Feinreinigung bietet. Der Radiolyseeinfluß wird untersucht.

From the results of distribution measurements a process for the recovery of an Am concentrate from PUREX waste solution is derived. The process consists of the following stages: 1. Feed-preparation 2. extraction of a lanthanoide-actinoide fraction by means of TBP-magnesium nitrate system and 3. reextraction of an Am concentrate with DTPA as complexing agent. The process is tested in a laboratory-scale apparature at a flow-rate of 1 l/h simulated waste solution. A lanthanoide/actinoide separation is obtained, which gives good condition for subsequent chromatographic final separation The influence of radiolytic degratation is also studied.
