Abstract

A new flavonoid glycoside, named aquisiflavoside, was isolated from the leaves of Aquilaria sinensis (Lour.) Gilg, and its structure was elucidated by spectroscopic analyses. Aquisiflavoside was evaluated for the inhibition of nitric oxide (NO) production induced by lipopolysaccharide in macrophage cell line RAW 264.7 and exhibited a potent inhibitory activity against NO production in a dose-dependent manner with an IC50 value of 34.95 μM.
