Three new monoterpene glycosides from the roots of Paeonia lactiflora

Abstract

Three new monoterpene glycosides, 2′-O-benzoylpaeoniflorin, albiflorin R₂, and albiflorin R₃ (1–3) were isolated from the roots of Paeonia lactiflora. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic means including one- and two-dimensional NMR experiments.
